69945, Scarlett O'Hara, Love Bird Dress Cissy, from Madame Alexander knows Love is in the air as she makes her grand entrance in this fabulously designed gown as Mrs. Rhett Butler in the 1939 Classic Movie, "Gone With The Wind". 21” Cissy is cast as the fair skinned Scarlett with lively green eyes and dark hair gently pulled back with long loose ringlets. Her dark navy taffeta ball gown features a fitted bodice with an antebellum waistline, low bandeau neckline with set in black sequins, and short off the shoulder puffed sleeves, attached to a sweeping very full gathered skirt. A gold toned love bird is perched on her right shoulder with two others adorning her skirt. Her undergarments consist of a white petticoat of wonderful tulle with white taffeta and lace trim, and white taffeta pantaloons accented with navy blue velvet ribbons over pink glissenette stockings. On her feet are 3 strap black boots with pink buttons and satin bows. She wears gold elbow length gloves and a gorgeous black rhinestone studded necklace. Made in the USA with and edition of only 75 makes her a treasure for both “Gone With the Wind” and Madame Alexander collectors!
