1.  Capuchins are small New World monkeys in the subfamily Cepinae.
2. Capuchins get their name from the Capuchin Order, an order of Franciscan friars.
3. In the wild, capuchins can live up to 25 years old, while captive capuchins can live up to 50. 
4. Capuchins are extremely intelligent; they are easy to train, have a base level of self-awareness, and can use simple tools.
