The llama is found mostly in Southern Peru through western Bolivia, Argentina & Chile. They feed on grass, herbs, shrubs and lichen. Llamas are related to camels but do not have a hump. Llamas are domestic animals and are used to carry loads. They can hold up to 75 pounds and travel up to 20 miles in one day. When llamas are angry they are known to spit.
